Collaboration Creates Opportunity

PartCenter connects software, hardware, civil, and finance professionals with marketing teams and with each other. Members pursue work through clear roles, truthful credentials, and written agreements.

Our purpose

We exist so a professional does not have to pretend they can do every part of a project.

PartCenter is a Virginia recruitment and consulting firm. We introduce people, help them prepare, and give specialists a way to share one project when a single person cannot honestly cover it.

  1. 01

    Help you be found

Marketing teams help with visibility, interview preparation, and introductions. A client still chooses. Being introduced is not a job offer.

  2. 02

Match the work to the right person

If a project needs a skill or a license you do not have, a qualified colleague owns that part. The client is told both names.

  3. 03

    Keep the fee honest

Money follows the work, in a written agreement for that project. There is no standard percentage, and membership itself is not income.

Portrait of David Mosteriyan, a software engineer.

“Collaboration gave me the freedom to enjoy life without putting my career on hold.”

After an earlier job loss during a personal emergency, David took a 20-day trip to Italy while an agreed teammate kept his projects moving. He reviewed the work for about 20 minutes a day and shared a portion of the earnings.

How a project is shared

Four steps. Then one picture.

You name what you can do. A colleague takes the rest. The client sees both names. The fee follows that written split.

  1. 1

    You

Name the skill you can show

Marketing, design, engineering, coordination, or analysis. Only the work you can actually do.

  2. 2

    A colleague

They take the part you should not claim

If the project needs a license or a specialty you do not have, that person owns it.

  3. 3

    The client

    They see both names first

The client is told who will do each part before the work starts. Nothing is hidden behind one résumé.

  4. 4

    The agreement

    The fee follows the work

The split is written down for that project. There is no standard percentage, and joining does not pay you.

One project, two owners

A picture of the idea. Your project will name its own roles.

Person A

Finds the client and writes the proposal

This might be you. It is a real task, not a claim that you designed the engineering.

Written split

Who does what. How the fee is divided.

Person B

Delivers the technical part and signs what they are allowed to sign

A qualified colleague. The client knows this name. A license stays with the person who holds it.

The client

Chooses the team. Pays for the work that was agreed.

The fee

Divided by the written roles. If the client does not pay, there is nothing to divide.

What is not included

No standard cut. No pay for simply being a member. No borrowed credential.

Four practices, one network

Technical work is rarely one person’s job.

The firm recruits and consults. It also gives professionals a way to combine skills, share a defined scope, and keep business development moving while qualified colleagues deliver the parts they agreed to own.

Your Skills. Our Network. Greater Opportunities.

Skilled software engineers still miss the right work: between roles, changing fields, or watching freelance income arrive and then stop. This division exists so that problem is not carried alone.

  • Artificial intelligence

Applied machine learning, language-model features, and agent workflows with a defined task, a data boundary, and a human reviewer.

  • Web and mobile

Full-stack applications, modernization of existing products, and interfaces built to be usable with a keyboard and a screen reader.

  • Cloud and integration

Infrastructure, deployment, APIs, and the connections between systems a business already runs.

  • Cybersecurity

Defensive improvements organized around recognized outcomes: knowing what you have, protecting it, detecting trouble, and recovering.

An illustration, not a forecast

One hundred marks. If a client picked one proposal at random, each applicant would have a 1 in 100 chance. Real clients do not pick at random.

Why Compete Alone When We Can Succeed Together?

Traditional freelancing often puts a professional in a stack of independent proposals. The picture of one chance in a hundred is only a way to see that crowding. It is not a prediction. Selection depends on qualifications, the client’s preferences, price, trust, timing, and who else is in the field.

Two qualified people can do something a single stretched résumé should not. They can combine skills, write a proposal that matches the real scope, and agree before the work starts who will do each part and how the fee will be divided. A wider network can also watch more markets than one person can cover. Greater reach is not a guaranteed win, and collaboration does not multiply anyone’s odds by a fixed number.

We don't rely on one individual to succeed. We create a network where every member's success can benefit the wider team.

Our philosophy

“Taking a step back allows you to see a much wider world.”

Business development

Spend less time searching. More time growing.

Marketing teams help members become easier to find, prepare for conversations, and think about the next engagement before the current one ends. Tools now in development may assist with discovery, filtering, drafting, reminders, and tracking, where a platform allows it.

Members can do that work themselves or use approved tools for eligible tasks. Applications must name the real person and the real qualifications. Professional judgment stays with a human being.

The team

Specialists across the work.

Engineers, coordinators, marketers, and analysts, each shown in the discipline they practice.
